Mahi Mahi

I picked up the last 2 Lbs. of Mahi Mahi in the grocery store for my dad’s birthday Cayman themed dinner. This fish is extremely easy to cook as is paired with sauteed vegetables that are delicious. (Jerk Chicken is with the Mahi Mahi in the picture below.)

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Lbs. Mahi Mahi (depending on how many people you are cooking for)
  • 1 T lime juice
  • 1 cup water
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions:

  1. Mix 1 T lime juice with the water in a zip lock bag and add the fish fillets, salt, and pepper
  2. Let marinate for 15 minutes, then remove and pat dry
  3. You can cook the fish on the grill on medium heat for about 20 minutes until the fish becomes flaky OR you can cook the fish on high heat in a pan over the stove with 2 T butter for 1-2 minutes
